A BRIEF HISTORY OF ap3xpr3dator.com
Ap3xPr3dator.com originated in Los
Angeles, California as an offshoot of the So Cal Top Guns
Fishing Team. After creating several traditional-styled
shirts for the club with functionality being paramount (dark
colors to hide the blood of the prey and lightweight longsleeve
T’s for maximum UV protection while on the water), we
were starting to be asked where to buy them.
Our original designs were created in the
Southern California Saltwater Sportfishing tradition and make
up the Top Guns line. We soon after added the Apex
Predator line, a freshwater line with the same Top Guns
durability and comfort. More recently, we introduced the
Black Labels, our premier line designed to look great both on
the water and off. In the near future we will be adding
unique vintage “wash” styled shirts of the same
quality used by Ed Hardy, Affliction, and others to this line,
giving you both the best fishing designs and top quality shirts
available anywhere!

Black Label premium fishing shirts
Our Black Label line was created for the
extreme angler who wants to look badass while bendo!
While these shirts are all printed on top quality 100%
cotton name brand blanks, they may be lighter than the AP line
as all these designs were created to be shirts you can wear
straight from the water to your night out. All these
shirts are discharge printed, a process which provides the same
high quality imaging as silkscreeneing by chemically treating
the fabric to accept pigments. This results in a much
softer shirt, as the image leaves no apparent raised profile.

Apex Predator freshwater fishing shirts
The AP (Apex Predator) line was created
with the same hardcore fishing durability and comfort of the
Top Guns line, except with freshwater fish designs. AP
shirts are silkscreened on top quality 100% cotton blanks,
usually Gildan Ultra or Hanes Beefy / Heavyweight.
Shortsleeves will always be the sturdiest available,
currently a 6.1oz, while longsleeves are slightly thinner at
5.2 (Hanes) or 5.6 oz (Gildan). We currently feature bass
and rainbow trout only, but look for new muskie, salmon, and
striper designs in the near future!
Top Guns saltwater fishing shirts
The Top Guns line was created with
hardcore fishing durability and comfort for Southern
California’s Top Guns Fishing Club. Top Guns shirts
are silkscreened on top quality 100% cotton blanks, usually
Gildan Ultra or Hanes Beefy / Heavyweight. Shortsleeves
will always be the sturdiest available, currently a 6.1oz,
while longsleeves are slightly thinner at 5.2 (Hanes) or 5.6 oz
(Gildan)z. We currently feature California Yellowtail,
Dorado / Mahi, Billfish / Marlin, and Bluefin Tuna designs, but
look for new dorado / mahi mahi, wahoo, salmon, striper, and
more designs in the near future!
